TTS with Live Avatar SDK

It seems with the HeyGen SDK its possible to stream text tokens from an LLM to the avatar via api using the speak method, but it is not available in the Live Avatar SDK. And I don't really see any obvious parallels. Is this capability available with Live Avatar in custom mode?
